Night Zookeeper

I love to write, I have loved it ever since I was little. When I finally bothered to start doing so I couldn’t stop; plays, poems and short stories were always flowing out of me. So of course I want cultivate that same passion in both of my boys… but they just don’t seem to be wired quite the same. I am not sure if it is because they are more like their father or if it is just this generation of plugged in kids. Either way, now that we are homeschooling, I knew I had to find something to help them think creatively and get those creative writing muscles working. That is how I found Night Zookeeper, a great online resource to help you inspire future authors.

Night Zookeeper not only has amazing stories to share with your kids, it is interactive, teaches spelling and grammar PLUS encourages them to create their own imaginative stories that are then looked over by tutors! Which means your kids will get access to tutors to help them develop their creative writing and to help them better understand the concepts. A great help for those of us homeschooling parents who love to have all the professional help they can get.

They even keep in mind that some kids who struggle with creative writing may also have Dyslexia or dysgraphia. Not everyone learns the same way and that is okay, but they have lots of tips and tricks to keep them from struggling the same way they would in a classroom where everyone is being taught one way. Being sensitive to how all children learn in different ways is what makes Night Zookeeper stand out from the rest, all they want to do is spark a joy for writing, something that many kids who struggle have lost along the way.

Not only are they are great online learning platform they also have a bunch of additional teaching and learning resources available in their shop to help us parents who might be new to this whole homeschooling adventure. Night Zookeeper makes learning and teaching and adventure and when things get stressful we all need a fun and inspiring way to learn. Not everyday will be easy but with great resources like this most days are going to be an incredible learning experience for everyone.

Both my boys now have accounts and we will be making sure that Night Zookeeper is an active part of our weekly lesson plans, if you want to do the same you can SIGN UP HERE.
