Tandoori Flame Surrey BC

Way too long ago now I was invited out to a great night of food and drinks by the great folks over at Tandoori Flame Surrey BC. It was an invitation you know I had to jump on as it is one of the most highly anticipated restaurant openings Surrey has ever seen. Boasting a massive authentic, affordable, buffet menu this place has more customers than it can handle.

This restaurant is the largest authentic Indian buffets in North America and it is right here in my own back yard. With a huge layout, and a brilliant selection of food and drinks you can’t go wrong with coming here with the whole family. I couldn’t stop thinking about this place after I had the chance to visit and basically eat and drink everything that I could. With so much space and with the multiple room layout this place has it has endless entertaining options, easily fitting 500 guests.

Best part is your whole family doesn’t have to enjoy Indian food, my hubby is super picky, my little ones are like mum and love all food from all over. Thankfully all of us could come here and enjoy a meal as this place has thought about that and they have pizza, onion rings, fries etc… available for those picky eaters. Not to mention an incredible salad bar and endless dessert bar that includes a soft serve ice cream machine and a whole freezer of gelato and long endless amounts of Indian sweets. It is impossible to go here and not leave full and happy. If I could I would never leave as they have everything that I could ever want.

We had a lovely evening of trying out some of the most delicious things and some new things too like goat! The goat curry was so good I went back for seconds same with the mango curry which is incredible if you aren’t into spicy. It is the most brilliant curry I have ever tasted and I insist that you make a point of trying it. I also had to give their palak paneer a go as that is classically my favorite and it was so good paired with their in house made naan bread. You even get to watch as they are cooking them in their tandoori ovens, truly a fun experience.

But then you see their drinks and they have one of the most wonderful drink menus for both kids and adults alike! I do recommend you order your drinks well in advance as they do take a really long time to get to you. I had to wait over an hour for one during this opening evening, which was disappointing since I didn’t get a chance to try more variety. But regardless of this the ones I did have were amazing.

Overall this place is a winner in my books and definitely somewhere I would bring my family to over and over again. It manages to make sure everyone leaves happy especially those who love Indian food or want to learn more about it!
