This year I got to become one of the luckiest mommies to ever walk the face of the planet, my eldest son insisted on a Star Wars themed birthday party and this nerd mom went ALL out.  I ensured to get some of the best people I know involved to make this one of the best most memorable parties ever and I know I completely succeeded.  Thanks to the amazing decorating and planning skills of Kristina over at SwankMama who created an amazing atmosphere and probably one of the best looking parties any of those kids have ever attended!  The cake magic Chloe’s Mini Bites made for me was such a big wow factor for all the kids and parents I was over the moon happy with the results and wow is it good!!  I was lucky enough to have a whole square extra so for now all the Halloween candy in the house is safe.

For now anyways….

There are really no words for the amount of fun all the kids had at the party, having full run of the whole space, playing with their “light sabers” in the dark gym and my little man being chased around by a room of girls.  Yes that is right everyone, at one point he was literally beating the ladies off with his “light saber” it was pretty epic.   I was also lucky to get pictures of it, but those are private since so many kids are in those photos.

Just check out the awesome setup we had!!  Thanks again Swankmama for putting all this together for me and making my life WAY easier, you all know how hard it is to plan a party for a ton of kids and this woman is magical at it.  If you are in need of some party planning for your kids next party, definitely hit this girl up she will for sure deliver!

sithbirthday_post_001See?!?!?! Amazing!! Everything was amazing my little man had the best day ever and all the kids were red in the face and sweaty before they left, I bet all of them got the best sleep ever that night!  This nerdy moms dreams came true that’s for sure and the goodie bags were amazing all the adults wanted one too!  Filled with galactic playdough, jedi certificates (personalized for each child of course), glow sticks, star wars angry bird activity packs and candy from the candy bar she create!!

Lucky folks even got to take home some of the amazing cake and not just cause it was all over their faces!  I was one lucky mommy that day, and I am still in shock over my oldest son being six already!

Which one of your kids parties has been your favorite?

  1. Awesome! You really put a lot of effort into this. I did a Winnie the Pooh party for Nicky’s first birthday and it went very well.

  2. Love it! All of it!!
I have to admit that one of the most fun birthdays was my son’s own Star Wars birthday. So much fun that day. His Daddy even dressed like Darth Vader and the boys chased him around the yard with their light sabers. We even had a Death Star pinata! soo cool.
glad everything went well for you!

  3. Thank you so much for the lovely post E! I had so much fun putting it together and hope everyone had an amazing time!

  4. Clearly the force was with you and Kristina, Eschelle. Photos never do these events justice. The children must have enjoyed themselves immensely.
