We were recently given the amazing opportunity to check out the latest exhibit: Backyard Adventures at Science World. Getting the opportunity to get up close and personal with all the things in our own backyards!
From learning about plants, to bugs, all the way to how a dog views the world, you get to see and learn it all at this latest exhibit. With lots of things to do for the whole family you can all learn about all the busy happenings the natural Eco-systems of our backyards can have!
There was so much for my homeschoolers to explore as parents we were thrilled to see our at home science class being backed up so well by this exhibit addition. You can see how much effort it really takes for a bee to buzz around from flower to flower. You can see what life is like being at the bottom of the food chain within a little pond. Even see the world from your pups perspective!
Throughout each area you will learn the impacts of so many species of bugs, animals, plants and organisms. They do such a great job of creating a learning space for everyone. They even have a great spot to play a little mini golf before heading over to the nocturnal animals area. Once you are all done there check out the little workshop and see what you can create and take some plans home with you!
Running until January 14, 2022; tickets are available to purchase at scienceworld.ca. All visitors 12+ are required to show proof of vaccination, with anyone 6 and up required to wear a mask. So make sure to bring one of your favorites for all the amazing fun you will have with your family!
As a family we have always loved checking out Science World and all they have to offer both young and young at heart. With their ever changing exhibits, amazing staff and gorgeous gift shop filled with amazing items perfect for learning you can’t go wrong. Backyard Adventures at Science World was a great way to spend at day at one of our favorite places in Vancouver.
