Many people consider Asia as a destination to go to, but often this can be a place like Indonesia or Thailand, which does get a mention a little later. However, China is definitely a country that you should consider adding to your bucket list. China is a forward thinking destination, especially when it comes to things like technology. After all, much of what we use daily is made in China. However, it is also well-known for its much loved cuisine and while many of us love it as a take out option on a weekend, there is no denying how good it would be to enjoy the real thing cooked authentically. Last of all, no trip to China would be complete without a visit to the Great Wall Of China. Definitely one for the memory bank.
Sticking with the area of Asia, another destination that you might not have considered before but definitely should is Singapore. An island city which is also a country, there is a lot to experience and see in this place. Beautiful building, amazing sights to witness and things like the night safari and a visit to Universal Studios should definitely be added to the list. Accommodation might be hard to come by, which is why you might want to consider something like a hdb rental flat could be a better option. Singapore is often a stopover destination, when traveling to other further afield places, but next time, why not book an extra few nights here and experience the delights it has to offer?
It may sound strange mentioning Australia in a post about iconic locations to add to your bucket list, but let’s face it, no list would be complete without a nod to Australia. Moist people want to go to Sydney, but there are so many other amazing locations to consider. You might want to think about adding Melbourne to the list, which happens to be the most liveable city in the world. Then there is Adelaide, Perth and it must be mentioned about the Great Barrier Reef. Australia is so big, that you may want to consider an extended holiday here, or certainly give yourself ample time to see everything.
Thailand is normally associated with backpackers or young adults that want to party at the famous full moon party, but Thailand can really offer a different type of holiday if you let it. Bangkok, the capital, can be a vibrant city full of different experiences. But you also have the beautiful islands with unspoiled beauty of white sands and crystal blue ocean. It is certainly more relaxed there, and it might be one to add to the list and experience sooner rather than later before some of the bigger islands get a little more commercialized.
The USA is definitely an iconic location, and with fifty states, we could spend all day telling you all about the amazing places. So a few mentions have to be the likes of Los Angeles, New Orleans, Las Vegas, New York City and the state of Florida. All of which have their own unique qualities that could make your vacation fabulous. A great idea for your bucket list could be roped trips in particular states. Where you take the time to explore some amazing locations within the state and enjoy it in all of its glory.
A popular destination for a holiday is Spain, but it is also very worthy of being added to your bucket list if there are locations within the country that you have yet to experience. Places like Madrid and Barcelona, for example. However, some of the Southern resorts such as Marbella are also definitely worthwhile visiting. Spain, along with its gorgeous cuisines, is a traditionally known for its beautiful beaches, and you are guaranteed not to be disappointed by them.
Finally, the last place to mention of iconic bucket list destinations would be Brazil. It isn’t normally associated with a holiday, but Rio De Janeiro is a very happening city. Especially during the carnival season which will enable you to experience street parties and parades full of glitz and colour. You also have the famous Christ The Redeemer statue on the top of the hill, that is definitely a worthwhile hike to get some incredible pictures and witness the beautiful views.
