Stanley Park Ghost Train

There is a brilliant Halloween tradition here in Vancouver and it is an ever changing spectacle that you don’t want to miss out on. The Stanley Park Ghost train has been a favorite for families all over B.C. and every year the theme is some new and something spectacular. Of course this year is no different.

Jack O’ Lantern’s Journey Through the Dark Forest where you can hop on board the Ghost Train entering an ancient Celtic Halloween world. The spooky train will lead you on a journey through Stanley Park by none other than Jack O’Lantern himself, cursed to wander for all eternity. Meet a 12-foot monster, floating druids, a shapeshifting phantom queen, and other creatures barely human, as you ride through the dark forest where nothing is what it seems!

But of course there is more to do there than just an incredible train ride through one of the most iconic forest in Vancouver, B.C.!

Within the plaza and farmyard area you can also find:

  • The Haunted Maze/The Little Monsters Maze
  • Crafts and movies
  • Exhibits by the Stanley Park Ecology Society
  • Our pumpkin patch
  • Food vendors: Insomniac’s Coffee, The Praguery, Kobachi Kart, Jack O’s Café & Canteen

With the Celtic theme in place this year my family and I are even more excited than ever before. With my side of the family being mostly Celtic this is an incredibly exciting year and I can’t wait to check it out.
