Every year Fan Expo Vancouver brings me some fantastic things to look forward to each day that it is put on. I have been a loyal fan of the Fan Expo since their very first year and I love it every year. Every year I spend what feels to be my weight in money on amazing things to. I also get the chance to meet some amazing people both famous and not famous. Between the celebrities, cosplayers and amazing merchandise you honestly have something to look at and gush over at every turn.
Since Fan Expo Vancouver was just this past weekend it also gave me a great chance to look for some Christmas gifts for loved ones. There were toys everywhere and great clothing items but this year I wanted to find some unique pieces for my family to enjoy which is why I have chosen to show you three exhibitors that were by far my favorites.
Hug and Kiss Designs Inc. I have mentioned her before from past years and this year she had even more amazing stuff. Calendars, magnets, coasters, notebooks, t-shirt and tonnes of other stuff that you can find online at her website. Each item is cute and rude at the same time. Clearly perfect for me. I have already collected three of her magnets and I can’t wait to get more plus a couple notebooks covered in swear words. She is truly the best.
Squire Sword makes these super cool “standees” that are two sided magnetized foam figures that depict really any character you want. They do commissions so you can get anything under the sun from My Little Pony items to Stephen Universe and Rick & Morty. They are the best, local and really affordable. A great idea for stuff some stockings or to get that someone you’re stumped on. I mean when they can create you anything you can ensure to check off every person on your list!
Rawry And Pohly was hands down one of my biggest temptations. It took everything in me not to buy every print they had they’re that amazing. If you have a My Little Pony fan or Pokémon fan in your house these are too cute to pass up. They’re designs are brilliantly hilarious and way too adorable. The Jolteon with fleas and their “rainbow poop” cracked me up and I need need need these under my Christmas Tree this year.
Outside of the vendors we had all the cosplayers and this year there were some really amazing ones check them out below:
The talent this year was amazing – you can check out even more of the fun on my Instagram! This I even got the chance to see some of my fav anime celebrities from Sailor Moon, Fairy Tale and even Sword Art Online all shows you need to check out ASAP and the last two are available on Netflix.
It was a great year again at Fan Expo Vancouver and I can’t thank them enough for the chance to interview Lesley-Ann Brandt and treat my readers to a great giveaway. I can’t wait until next year!
If you got a chance to go what was your favorite thing at Fan Expo Vancouver?
